This is for the women who have made a life in a country they didn’t grow up in
For the people who have learned a new language and live in it
For the people who navigate what their identity hinges on again and again
For those whose hearts seem to be relentlessly seeking

For those who want to be seen
The ones who want more but often feel stuck
For those who look where the light pours in
For those whose mental health relies on routines and tools and yet they know Joy

For those who are in the small child phase and all the intensity that comes with it
For those living in or holding on to the hope of Jesus Christ
This is for one of those people, for all of them

But mostly, this is for me

Because I need to write, to be honest, to find passion, to navigate my identity, to live my ordinary days better and to look where the light pours in.
